Marine fuels

We are well-positioned in all key bunker hubs in ARA, Hamburg, and the Mediterranean. We hold the largest bunker market share with terminals in the Strait of Gibraltar and Malta.

Our competitive advantage lies in high blending capability and product segregation. All terminals allow our customers to store and blend a variety of bunker products, including HSFO, VLSFO, DMA, Bio30, as well as feedstocks.

Ideally equipped assets to serve regional bunker markets

We offer well-equipped infrastructure supporting bunker operations in the ports and offshore, accessible via vessel, barge, and, in the case of our Hamburg site, a railway connection. Algeciras is perfectly situated for the transshipment hub of major global shipping routes between Europe and Africa, and North America, while our Malta terminal can easily provide bunkering without deviation on voyages between northern Europe and the Suez Canal.

Blending services for increasing demand in greener bunker fuels

Excellent performance in blending and mixing operations with a variety of feedstocks is provided at all our terminals. Flexible infrastructure and capability to adapt our capacities to customers’ requirements make us the right partner in a changing bunker landscape.

Developing solutions for the energy transition in the bunker market

We hold a strong position in storage of alternative marine fuels, such as green methanol in Rotterdam and Algeciras. With existing methanol positions in Rotterdam and Algeciras, and the capability to develop at our Hamburg and Malta terminals, we are the one-stop-shop for methanol bunkering requirements across the continent. By combining our experience, expertise and terminal network we are able to develop fit for purpose methanol bunkering solutions. The initial roll-out of this concept will start in Rotterdam, with other terminals to follow.
