Naphtha is a vital feedstock for the chemical industry, serving as a raw material for the production of various chemicals, including ethylene, propylene, butadiene, and aromatics like benzene, toluene, and xylene. Naphtha is also a main feedstock in petroleum refining, where it’s commonly used in the production of gasoline via catalytic reforming or steam cracking.
Logistics play a crucial role in naphtha trading due to the need for transportation from production facilities (refineries) to consumption centers (petrochemical plants) or gasoline blending facilities (storage terminals) which are often located in different geographical areas. We offer excellent trading opportunities through its network terminals in Terneuzen, Ghent and Amsterdam, with dedicated infrastructure and experienced customer service.
Extensive naphtha network for petrochemical and blending demand
Storage and handling of naphtha for chemical application or gasoline blending is a key expertise of our terminal Terneuzen, Ghent and Amsterdam. Our large gasoline blending facility in Amsterdam offers naphtha players a logical trading position and access to the large ARA gasoline pool. Ghent and Terneuzen offer highly integrated pipelines and connections by road, rail and inland waterways to a large number of petrochemical end-users in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France.
Unique dedicated hub in Europe’s largest naphtha centers
The Terneuzen terminal has been developed as a unique dedicated naphtha trading hub connected by pipeline to one of the biggest naphtha demand sites in Europe. The terminal offers a 24/7 platform to producers, traders and off takers to store and trade naphtha in a most safe and efficient way. Terneuzen has a direct deepwater access to the North Sea and congestion-free access to the most important international road and rail networks to petrochemical industry. It is a near-zero emission terminal with advanced blending capabilities including blending of pyrolysis oils.
